Jinan Shenlan Animal Health Products Co., Ltd. recently welcomed a senior delegation from Jubaili Agrotec Group (JAG), one of Africa‘s leading agrochemical and animal health enterprises, to its facilities in Jinan, Shandong Province. The visit marked a significant step in Shenlan’s strategic expansion into Middle Eastern and African markets.

Jubaili Agrotec Group is a leading importer, distributor, and manufacturer of agrochemicals in Africa. Originally founded in Lebanon in 1944, the group expanded its operations into Africa and established its presence in Nigeria in 2002, subsequently extending to Ghana (2014), Uganda (2015), Tanzania (2016), and Kenya (2017). Today, JAG operates across six African countries and serves more than 16 markets, employing approximately 2,300 people across sub-Saharan Africa.
The group‘s product portfolio includes pesticides, animal feed, veterinary drugs, fertilizers, seeds, and sprayers, distributed through its own retail networks and agro-dealers to smallholder farmers.JAG reaches over 50,000 farmers and operates approximately 40 warehouses and more than 100 retail depots across its operating regions.In 2022, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) partnered with Jubaili Agrotec through a $35 million financing package to expand production capacity in Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, and Uganda, strengthening food security in sub-Saharan Africa.
Factory Tour and Product Review
During the visit, the Jubaili delegation toured Shenlan‘s R&D center, quality control department, and standardized production workshops. They conducted on-site assessments of Shenlan’s manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and product development capabilities.
The clients expressed high recognition of the quality and craftsmanship of Shenlan‘s core products, particularly intramammary infusions and oral solutions, and voiced strong confidence in future market adaptation and bulk cooperation.
