Gonadorelin Injection
[Main Ingredient] Gonadorelin
[Description] A clear, colorless liquid.
[Pharmacological Action] Hormonal agent. Intravenous or intramuscular injection of physiological doses of gonadorelin causes a marked increase in plasma luteinizing hormone (LH) and a slight increase in follicle‑stimulating hormone (FSH), promoting maturation and ovulation of oocytes in female animals or testicular development and spermatogenesis in male animals.
In dairy cows, after intramuscular injection, it is rapidly absorbed at the injection site and quickly metabolized in plasma into inactive fragments, which are excreted via urine.
[Indications] Hormonal agent. Stimulates the release of FSH and LH from the anterior pituitary gland. Used for the treatment of ovarian inactivity in dairy cows and for the induction of synchronized estrus in dairy cows.
[Dosage and Administration] Intramuscular injection. Once ovarian inactivity is confirmed in dairy cows, the Oesynch program is initiated. For induction of estrus, the Ovsynch program is started approximately 50 days postpartum.
The Ovsynch program is as follows: On the first day of the program, inject 2–4ml of this product per cow; on day 7, inject cloprostenol sodium 0.5mg; 48 hours later, administer a second injection of the same dose of this product; then inseminate 18–20 hours after the second injection.
[Adverse Reactions] No adverse reactions have been observed at the recommended dosage and administration.
[Precautions] (1) Do not use for growth promotion.
(2) Generally, other hormonal agents should not be used concurrently after administration of this product.
(3) Keep out of reach of children.
[Withdrawal Period] Cattle: 7 days; milk discard period: 12 hours.
[Strengths] 2ml:100μg， 2ml:200μg, 10ml: 500μg
[Storage] Keep sealed, store in a cool and dark place.
