Buserelin Injection
[Main Ingredient] Buserelin
[Description] A white to off-white lyophilized block or powder.
[Pharmacological Action] Pharmacodynamics: Buserelin is a synthetic gonadotropin-releasing hormone with activity similar to that of natural GnRH. It stimulates the pituitary to release follicle‑stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) into the blood; doses higher than the clinical recommendation do not further stimulate FSH and LH release. It also stimulates gonadal steroid secretion. It is used for synchronized ovulation in sows and for estrus synchronization in dairy cows to improve conception rates, etc.
Pharmacokinetics: After injection, buserelin is rapidly absorbed and eliminated; the body quickly releases LH after administration. Metabolism occurs in the liver, kidneys and pituitary, and all metabolites are small inactive peptides, excreted mainly via urine.
[Indications] For induction of ovulation in sows; for estrus synchronization in dairy cows to improve conception rates.
[Dosage and Administration]
Administer by intramuscular injection, calculated as the product. Specific administration regimens are shown in the tables below:

[Adverse Reactions]No adverse reactions were observed at the recommended dosage and administration.
[Precautions]Use only in healthy sows that are sexually mature and have had at least one estrus; do not use in pregnant or lactating sows.
In individual cases, estrus may not occur exactly at 30–33 hours after administration; insemination may be performed later when signs of estrus appear.
Some sows may lose body fat reserves during lactation, with a marked decrease in backfat thickness (over 30%), possibly related to negative energy balance. These animals may have delayed estrus and ovulation and should be managed and inseminated separately.
Failure to follow the recommended regimen may lead to the formation of follicular cysts, which may adversely affect fertility.
Suitable dairy cows do not require estrus detection; timed insemination is performed.
Aseptic technique should be used when withdrawing the solution and during injection.
Pregnant women should avoid contact with this product.
In case of accidental self‑injection by the operator, seek medical attention immediately and show the physician the package insert or label.
In case of accidental eye or skin contact, wash immediately with soap and water.
Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling this product; wash hands after use.
Keep out of reach of children.
Any unused expired portion should be disposed of in a harmless manner.
